XPass 2

The Suprema XPass 2 is a compact and highly durable outdoor RFID and mobile credential access-control reader designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, data centres, educational facilities and other security-sensitive environments. It supports dual-frequency 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID technologies, including EM, MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, FeliCa and, on selected models, HID Prox and HID iCLASS/Seos credentials. It also supports NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy mobile credentials, allowing organisations to combine traditional access cards with smartphone-based authentication. XPass 2 can manage up to 200,000 users and card credentials and store up to 1,000,000 event logs, making it suitable for both standalone access points and large centrally managed security deployments. A major strength of the XPass 2 is its rugged construction and flexible installation options. Suprema offers mullion, gangbox and keypad variants, allowing the reader to fit narrow door frames, electrical boxes and applications that require PIN entry. The unit carries IP65/IP67 environmental protection and an IK08 impact-resistance rating, while supporting operation from approximately -35°C to 65°C, making it well suited to demanding indoor and outdoor installations. Professional interfaces include 10/100 Ethernet, IEEE 802.3af PoE, RS-485 with OSDP V2, selectable Wiegand input/output, two configurable inputs, an integrated relay and tamper detection.
