CoreStation

The Suprema CoreStation is an enterprise-grade intelligent biometric access controller designed for corporate offices, commercial buildings, data centres, government facilities and other high-security environments requiring centralized access management with biometric authentication. CoreStation can manage up to 500,000 users and is engineered for extremely fast biometric processing, supporting fingerprint matching performance of up to 400,000 matches per second when used with compatible Suprema fingerprint readers. The current CoreStation platform supports large credential and event databases, with capacity for up to 5 million text logs, making it suitable for organisations operating a large number of employees, visitors and access points. It integrates with Suprema’s BioStar platform to provide centralized access control, user management, authentication policies and attendance-management capabilities.For professional security integration, CoreStation provides extensive connectivity for readers, locks, sensors and external security equipment. The CS-40 platform includes five RS-485 channels with OSDP V2 support, four Wiegand channels, four relay outputs, eight configurable inputs, eight outputs, eight supervised inputs and auxiliary inputs for functions such as AC power failure and tamper monitoring. Ethernet connectivity enables centralized IP-based management, while compatible fingerprint readers can operate as slave authentication devices so that biometric matching is performed centrally by CoreStation.
